"Forged Through Fire" Author to Share Resiliency Story on Campus March 18th
Mark McDonough, M.D., PT, will share his story of resiliency, survival and persistence and sign copies of his new book Forged Through Fire at a pair of events Wednesday, March 18th at Kent State University at Ashtabula.
“Dr. Mark” will speak to students at noon in Robert S. Morrison Hall’s Huggins Lecture Hall (H109) before hosting a free public program and book signing at 6 p.m. in the Main Hall Auditorium. There is no charge for attendance, and copies of Forged Through Fire will be available for purchase following each event from the Kent State Ashtabula Barnes & Noble Campus Store.
Alumna is Hitting a High Note
Kent State University at Ashtabula nursing alumnaKatie Paskey ADN '17, BSN '19, is concluding her first season as a member of the prestigious Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, performing with the volunteer professional group from September through May, in addition to her full-time job as a registered cardiac nurse at the Cleveland Clinic.

Living May 4th Exhibit on Display at Kent State Ashtabula Library
Living May 4th, a pair of personal collections of items and artifacts pertaining to the tragic events of May 4, 1970, is currently on display at the Kent State University at Ashtabula Library. The exhibit is part of the campus’s commemoration of the 50th anniversary of May 4th.
BSRC Earns Provisional Accreditation from CoARC
At its most recent meeting, the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) voted to confer provisional accreditation to the Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Care (BSRC) at Kent State University at Ashtabula.
体育投注正规网址This status signifies that a program with an approval of intent has demonstrated sufficient compliance with the standards (through submission of an acceptable Provisional Accreditation Self Study Report (PSSR) and any documentation required by the CoARC, as well as satisfactory completion of an initial on-site visit.
